IS JESUS IMPORTANT IN YOUR LIFE?  
Secular Franciscans witness for Jesus by following the Rule given to them 
by Saint Francis and approved by the Church. The rule describes how we can 
make Jesus the center of our lives the way Francis did. 

WILL YOU BE THE NEW APOSTLES FOR THE CHURCH? 
Our Fraternity meets at 2:30 PM on the third Sunday of each month
at St. Joseph's Parish in Babylon.

HOW DO WE GO ABOUT DOING THIS?  
Our Fraternity helps you grow in faith and holiness by: 
fostering an understanding of the Church; 
by helping you develop your prayer life; 
studying the life of Saint Francis; 
developing a fraternal life with your brothers and sisters. 
 
Francis could not accomplish what he did for God alone. Many were called 
by Christ to the Franciscan way of life. They are still being called today. 
Francis calls us to follow Christ by: 
Giving preference to the un-born, poor, elderly, oppressed and outcast of society 
Seeking to serve others rather than be served 
Placing people above things 
Above all by offering the full- ness of our lives to Jesus 
 
THE COMMUNITY OF SECULAR FRANCISCANS 
Spiritual and true affection connects Franciscans wherever they meet. 
We share the mystery of God revealed to us by the Roman Catholic Church. 
The Holy Spirit guides us through our humility. Our goal is to be peacemakers 
by becoming peaceful ourselves. It can only be successful if you know Jesus, 
live His gospel and place Jesus first in your life. We do it by living the 
Rule Francis gave to us as married and single people in the world who live 
their Catholic faith. As Francis, re-builder of the Church, we imitate and 
try to renew the Church, by the way we live.
